Passages - Domestic Flight Booking Information

Booking your domestic flight with Traveland offers several benefits:

• Alignment with International Itinerary: Traveland works directly with Passages and has reserved your international itinerary. By booking through Traveland, you will ensure that your domestic flights align with your international itinerary.

• Better Airline Protection: In some cases, domestic flights can be combined with your international ticket. This provides you with better protection in case of cancellations or delays and might even reduce the cost of your airfare.
• Emergency Coverage: By booking through Traveland, you’ll be covered by Passages Emergency Coverage through Traveland, which includes support for any travel disruptions such as delays or cancellations on the day of travel.
• No Additional Service Fees: Traveland does not charge any extra service fees for booking your domestic flight. You are responsible for the cost of the airfare, and we will assist in finding the most budget-friendly options.

Once your international itinerary is confirmed, Traveland will contact you via email to begin booking your domestic flight. To proceed:

• Respond to our email or reach out to us directly at passages@traveland.net.
• We will book a domestic flight based on the airport you submitted in your Passages application.
• If you have a specific itinerary in mind, feel free to share your preferences with us. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

You can book your domestic flight as soon as you hear from Traveland. However, it’s highly recommended that your domestic fight is finalized 4-5 weeks before your international departure.

Yes, you are responsible for the cost of your domestic flight.

Your registration fee to Passages covers your international flights, hotels, touring costs and most meals.

Absolutely! If you have a preferred domestic flight itinerary, let us know! We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

• Important Note: Traveland does not book flights on low-cost carriers such as Spirit or Frontier.

To ensure a smooth connection with your international flight, please follow these time requirements:

• Arriving at the International Gateway Airport: You must arrive at least 6 hours before your international flight departs.
• Transit Time for Your Return to the U.S.: Ensure you have a minimum of 3.5 hours of transit time when returning to the U.S.

If you choose to book your own domestic flight, please note the following:

• Traveland will not have access to your flight reservation in the event of an emergency (e.g., delays or cancellations). You’ll need to contact the airline directly for assistance and you will not be covered under Passages’ Emergency Coverage for any travel disruptions.

If you decide to use miles or flight credits, please ensure that your flight meets the time requirements for connecting with your international flight.

No, there are no additional service fees when you book your domestic flight through Traveland. You will only pay for the cost of the airfare.
