Alexander Muss High School in Israel – Flight Registration

Welcome to the Alexander Muss High School (AMHSI) in Israel flight information and booking center.

AMHSI offers multiple programs during the year. Please register by selecting the appropriate program for your student from the links below.

Flights for ALL AMHSI programs MUST be booked through Traveland.  The group flights itinerary will be sent to you 45 days prior to departure.

If a flight connection is needed to a gateway city, please reach out to AMHSI@traveland.net.

Traveland can assist in booking an individual domestic ticket, but please know these tickets are separate from the AMHSI group flights and are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Please use the parent/guardian email address to register, rather than the student email. This will enable Traveland to send communications, final payment notices, as well as eTicket confirmation to the parent/guardian directly.

Seats on group flights are limited. Please register as soon as possible.

FAQ

Why must all group flights be booked through Traveland?

AMHSI commissioned Traveland to reserve a block of seats for every program to ensure each student will have a safe and secure flight experience to Tel Aviv. Traveland manages and monitors the flights and deviations, provides flight protection for students in the event of flights delays or cancellations, and provides an on-site Traveland representative for each AMHSI departure to provide support to the AMHSI flight chaperone on each group flight.

Each group flight includes:

  • Round trip airfare from selects gateways cities on major airlines
  • One checked bag and one carry on
  • Seat assignment in the group block
  • AMHSI Chaperones on each group flight
  • Traveland escort at airports upon departure
  • Transportation to/from Tel Aviv Airport to the AMHSI Facility
  • Trip interruption/cancelation monitoring and flight protection
  • No fee domestic flight booking to the group flights

When is the deadline for paying a deposit for the group flights?

The deposit is due at the time of program registration of the student, and can be securely paid online utilizing the registration link for the specific program.

Is the deposit refundable?

Once the deposit is paid, it is nonrefundable

When is the deadline for paying the final payment?

The system will automatically generate a reminder and a link to pay the final payment 60 DAYS PRIOR to departure.

What can we do if we did not get an automated link to pay the final payment?

If you did not receive the ‘final payment link’, please contact the AMHSI Travel support line listed below and request a new link.

What can be done if the student cannot travel?

Please contact the AMHSI Travel support line. Depending on the reason for cancellation, a refund can be requested

Can the student travel only one way with the group (inbound, or outbound)?

Yes! During the registration process, please check the box related to a one-way travel. Please reach out to AMHSI@traveland.net to make one-way arrangements.

Are there any other cities available to travel from other than the group flights?

Yes!  Please contact the AMHSI Travel support line. A travel manager will be able to assist you in booking a separate connecting flight. Please know these tickets are non-refundable.

Are any stopovers allowed?

No stop over allowed on group flights.

How far in advance should the student get to the airport?

The student should arrive at the airport 4 hours prior to departure and check with the Traveland/AMHSI representative at the airport.

Are groups flights are escorted by AMHSI chaperones?

Yes! Each group flight is escorted with AMHSI chaperone. Only group flights are escorted.

How can I get assistance in filling the registration form?

How can I correct information submitted on the registration form?

There are different levels of insurance available to protect your students trip. To have access to all options of coverage, please contact Liana DiCurzio at Liana@traveland.net for a quote within 15 days of making the very first payment towards the trip. Travel coverage can be obtained up to 7 days before travel, however not all options and benefits are available after 15 days.

Terms & Conditions for AMHSI Group Flights

You are about to register for group flight for one of the many AMHSI 2024 Programs.

AMHSI & Traveland’s representatives will meet the group flights at the airport and the flights will have an AMHSI escort on board.

Make sure to register under the student’s name, but use the parent/guardian email address when registering for future communication and final billings.

Space is limited for these group blocks. These flights are booked on a first come, first served basis.

  • Your deposit of $200 is nonrefundable.
  • Final Payment: the system will prompt you via email to pay the balance on or before 60 days prior to departure. Please be on the lookout (and check your spam folder) for the final payment invoice. If you believe you did not receive the final payment link, please contact our AMHSI Travel Support Team at Traveland:
    800-978-6333 Ext 250 or 256.
  • Once the ticket has been paid in full, it is nonrefundable.
  • Connecting Flights: Should a separate flight be needed to connect to the AMHSI gateway, you may reach out to AMHSI@traveland.net. Domestic tickets are separate from group tickets and are non-refundable once booked.
  • Seating: ELAL has assigned a seating block for the entire group. The students will be assigned a seat within the block. Sadly, we can honor a specific seat request.
  • Special meal requests: All meals on ELAL flights are Kosher. Should the student require a special meal due to any dietary restrictions (such as vegetarian, gluten free) please note your meal request during the registration process.

Airfare from NYC Airport = $2850.00 

The original group space was released as programs were suspended. Therefore, the airfare is higher than initially advertised due to limited space availability and ELAL being the only airline. 

  • Space for these airfares is very limited.  
  • Student must register on Traveland site https://groups.traveland.net/amhsi and post a nonrefundable deposit of $200.00. 
  • Registration deadline is set for 3/20/2024 as airfare cannot BE GUARANTEED BEYOND THAT DATE. 
  • After that date flights may or may not be available at the prevailing published rates.
